What items do you carry in your shop?Handmade jewelry,mostly wirework.Tulle and bead hair accessories,and hats……….so far!
How did you decide on your shop name?
My original business name is “Jenny’s Treasures”,but when I signed up for etsy,that was taken,so I added the “ForU”.Maybe later I’ll get to change it to “JennysTreasures,but this works for now.I’ve thought of completely changing it,but I’ve decided to just kept it simple.
Do you have anything new you plan on adding to your store?I’ve been making more hair accessories,so I’ll be adding more of those.Lots of tulle hair clips in many different colors and sizes.And a few lace and fabric headbands.More bridal items,for sure.I’ve been really interested in weddings and love making jewelry or a hair price for that special day,for anyone to wear.
Though I don’t know when I’ll be able to add them since I’m having trouble getting the pictures off my camera.I hope I can get a new camera soon.

What is your inspiration when making a new item?Well,it can be anything.Oftentimes it’s a picture,or nature,a movie or an outfit.The beads themselves inspire me!Sometimes music,since I love music.I’m often singing and/or listening to music while working on a piece.Especially worship music,cause I can feel God’s presence more then,and all creativity comes from him,so I’m naturally more creative in his presence.(I like to paint,and sometimes I paint to the music:)
What items in your shop do you most enjoy making and why?
I usually enjoy making the wirework items the most,like the Branch Earrings.And even though the tulle hair pieces are pretty time consuming,I really do have fun cutting out all those little petals and stitching them into a flower.Anything else you would like us to know?
I LOVE photography as well.It’s a lot of hard work,but it’s one of my passions.I started the “Like the Gold” blog partly for if I ever go pro.I’ve trying to come up with a good name for my photography.
I’m thinking of starting a clothing line in the near future.Silk is one of my favorite fabrics and I always have such a hard time finding very many dresses in the color and style I want.(I love yellow,coral,aqua,etc).And cotton,as well.Can you imagine the fun I would have beading some of them?And I will paint others.One of my friends can custom dye colors for me.I will probably be making a few wedding dresses,too,and we’ll see how it goes!Right now I’m just researching,getting ideas and practicing my sewing.I’m wanting to hand sew(no sewing machine for me!),as much of the dresses I can.I just really prefer to hand sew and it’s much better for detailed work.** As always I would like to encourage all of my readers to check out this wonderful Etsy Shop.
