What items do you carry in your shop?–I carry a variety of handmade bath and beauty products in my shop! Soap alone has a few different types not to mention 20+ scents. I have Triple Milled soap which is truly a luxury bar of soap with added Shea Butter, Olive Oil, and Vitamin E Oil. Glycerin soap is all bright colors and bold scents with a skin nourishing Glycerin base. Finally, Cold Processed soap is more earthy scents with mild exfoliation coming from dill and celery seeds.
Aside from soap, I have Whipped Shea Butter which is an intensive moisturizer, Lotion Bars that will moisturize the toughest spots, Sugar Scrubs for exfoliation and Lip Butters to moisturize your lips!
All of my products are Vegan so you will not find any animal products in my shop.
How did you decide your shop name?–I went through several names before settling on “Tie Dye Bathworks”. I decided on that name because it is original, it allows for bright colors in the branding, and I LOVE tie dye! It was a natural fit.
Are you planning on adding anything to your shop?
I am planning on adding some salt scrubs, shaving soaps, and bath bombs in the near future.
Where are you from and a little about youI am from Red Wing, MN. I live with my 13 year old son and my husband of almost 2 years (August 8 will mark 2 years) I do not work outside the home. I spend my days researching ingredients, packaging products, crocheting, or doing some other business related activity.
What is your inspiration when making a new item?
My inspiration for a new product is always first and foremost making something that falls into 1 of 3 categories: exfoliation, cleansing, or moisturizing. If I can cover all 3, I have hit the trifecta! Then I focus on scent. I want my products to leave a scent lingering on your skin without being overpowering. Then comes the look of the product (mostly with soap) I go through phases with the look I go for. Most recently, I am going for a marbled look with my soap!
