Dallas the Complete Final Season Review

My Thoughts on Dallas
The Complete Final Season
Before this review I had never seen Dallas. I guess the big reasonbehind that was that Dallas ended in 1991 which was the year I was in 1stgrade. I do however know that my Mom never missed an episode and I rememberthat on the nights that Dallas came on TV she would put us kids to bed early sothat she never missed a thing! In fact when I told her that I was going toreview the Final Season she laughed and said “Goodness Krista, I could writethat right now without seeing any of it!”
When I popped in the first DVD I quickly noticed how many famous actorsI actually knew. Patrick Duffy, Kimberly Foster, Larry Hagman, Howard Keel,George Kennedy, Ken Kercheval, Sasha Mitchell, Cathy Podewell, Barbara Stock, and Sheree J. Wilson just to name a few. I was also instantly into the firstepisode even though I had never seen them and had no idea who the characterswere and who they were to each other. But, it did not take long to get the gistof what was going on! Dallas is a captivating show! I would really like towatch all of it from the beginning as it seems that everything was right up my alley!
On the Back of the Movie
In it’s 14th and final season, Dallas goes out in a gusherof murders and kidnappings, lies and blackmail, seductions and schemes. J.R.,Bobby and Cliff – three original characters so big only Big D could hold ‘em -are at the heart of the action, surrounded by oil-country folds who joined theseries over the years and passel of dynamic newcomers. And of course there’sthat Dallas hallmark, a white-knuckle cliffhanger. This time it’s afeature-length finale inspired by it’s a Wonderful Life in which J.R.’sguardian from the great beyond shows the Lone Star State’s meanest rattler whatthe world would have been without him. Think everything’s for the better? Thenyou’re in for some surprises!
